Human Resources Job Description

The Human Resources field covers a wide range of positions related to employees within a company. This includes recruiting new staff and managing the details of their employment in the business. Keeping track of employee progress is another essential aspect in human resources, as well as running salary reviews and organizing the training of staff. People in this field should have excellent people skills and the ability to form interpersonal relationships with employees.

Entry level positions require graduation from a Human Resources or Business Administration program. Management positions call for a Post-Secondary Degree or Diploma in Business Administration or Human Resources. CHRP designation is also an asset.
